"The Medina City Council approved the cameras after Medina reported 11 burglaries in 2008 -- nearly double the six robberies reported the previous year."

Now they have high tech cameras to show exactly when people come and go from the city. Hmm, nice how people can give up their personal liberty of being spied on by the government and logged because there were 11 burglaries within a year time!

If Bill gates lives there the area has to have a good bit of rich folks living there. I really don't see a problem at all, gotta protect their expensive shit.

I am sure they have some of the best home security money can buy, too. But to have them cameras up taping everyone coming and going. Vehicles and people video taped.

You don't see them doing that in real crime areas so they can capture the crimes and people committing them red handed. No. That's considered privacy invasion. Rich people get robbed a total of 11 times within a year and they make the whole town a movie set with cameras and photography capturing everyone.
