Flat-Rate Bordellos - now that's not a phrase that I would have ever considered before !! :1orglaugh

The article's good, and the last line is priceless:

http://www.thelocal.de/national/20090703-20367.html

Excerpt, incl. that final line:

Social Democrat representative Katrin Altpeter has lent her support to the plan. “The state must intervene quickly to ban arrangements that do not respect human dignity,” she said.

The "Pussyclub" bordello opened in Fellbach on June 5 offering a flat-rate deal for sex. Customers pay between €70 and €100 to patronise prostitutes as often as they like in a single visit.

“The low price raises the suspicion that the women are being exploited,” Palm told SWR4.

According to Palm, there are four flat-rate bordellos in Germany, in three different states, but the nature of Germany’s prostitution law, introduced in 2002, prevents individual states from banning them without federal sanction.

Baden-Württemberg’s Interior Minister Heribert Rech has also lent his support to Palm’s proposal.

A reportage published earlier this year in Stern magazine about a flatrate bordello in Berlin claimed that the flat-rate scheme had been financially successful.

"Men often over-estimate their abilities," Patricia Florein, manager of the Berlin bordello said. "Hardly any can manage more than twice

."

No, but really, there are some serious issues worth discussing here, if anyone's up for it....

I love big booty too!
I wonder: why do all the English still come to the Amsterdam Red Light District when just 200 km away you can fuck yourself silly for just 70 bucks.

If I had a my Freeones account, I would have just gotten 25 points!
I've never heard of flat-rate bordellos before, neither have I seen any of this on any of the news channels. Strange what American media thinks is important national news in Germany.

Anyway, I don't know where the problem is exactly. It can't be this big when none of the unions (ver.di or Hydra) complain about it.
In my opinion, it's once again a witchhunt by political parties, that drift away more and more from the liberal and moderate political centre, may it be the right or the left. It's interesting that the Green Party of all parties, which was not thirty years ago feared as a communist-hippie-eco-party, seems to have the most moderate, democratic and capitalist (!) viewpoint on this.

I would think men would be scared to go to a flat rate place. There is a reason the good women are expensive.
