I love visiting places like these. It always gives me this haunting nostalgic and surreal feeling. Combine that with the swirling mass of questions that go about in my head, and you get one memorable afternoon.

try looking up the town of Bodie in the Sierra Nevada mountains, CA.

it was a silver mining town back in the day. eventually the silver ran out, and people just up and left. if you go there, you can see place settings on dinner tables, items still on the shelves in the general store and a bunch of stuff just like that.

Ive been to a Ghosttown called Thurmond located in Southern West Virginia. It wasnt creepy or anything but neat to look at. Pretty much everything is still there all the houses, the church, bank ect.
