Sometimes those direct links to pics (aka "hotlinks") don't work, or they only do if a person copies and pastes them into their browser.
So, that's a great reason to always provide the link to the sample gallery (or at least whenever you have that link) - not only that the board rules don't allow hotlinking. However, the moderators don't seem to have a problem (in their eternal wisdom) with hotlinking pics IF you also provide the gallery link. (I think that's because it shows that you're getting the pic from a legit, free, sample gallery)
So, if possible, try to provide BOTH the pic link and the link to the gallery it's from. For the sake of your fellow wankers and also just to follow the rules.
