The very reason why I decided to stay away from restaurants, especially fast-food joints. I've watched a fair amount of videos similar to the one above (remember the BK employee taking a bath in the kitchen sink) and they are sickening. While on a roadtrip early this year, I noticed a couple of employees handling food wthout gloves! One was at the people that do chicken right, and the other at a the Waffle digz. They reluctantly wore them after we repeatedly asked them to. No thanks, I'll stick to cooking at home.

This is actually pretty common, and not against procedure for many companies.

If someone is wearing gloves, they might wear the same pair for up to an hour, without getting washed once. How is that more hygenic than bare handed? They are far more likely to wash their hands on a regular basis.
