And I trust that NOBODY is going to download the illegal version? Rockstar need our support in their battle against EA.. if everyone downloads an illegal version, Rockstar will have no choice but to accept EA's offer.

...and once they accept, GTA will never be the same again.. :crying:

Yes, poor old Rockstar, if a few people download an illegal copy then the millions who bought a genuine copy would not be enough to prevent them from going down.

I wouldn't worry too much about that somehow...

Not long now folks. I managed to get some cash scraped together but I think I ordered too late to get it on launch day! Nevermind, I can wait.

Hell no am I downloading an illegal version. But it doesn't matter that a pirate copy has leaked, because this is still going to be the biggest selling game of the year. Rockstar are not in ANY danger at all.

And now that an official gameplay vid has been released, I gave in to my hearts desires and clicked the play button.

To say the least, I was amazed at the day-time visuals. Night time graphics seemed a bit crappy in comparison (It was probably just too dark on the recording to make out the detail), but still FAR better than any other sandbox-style game.

I didnt like the way Niko leans when running, or the strange, cinematic-style driving, but I imagine I will get used to that.

It was tough getting used to GTA 3 after many, many months spent cruising the streets in birds-eye view. I now just have to get used to the revamped physics I guess. :thumbsup:

The stores have GTA 4 already, they just can't sell it yet. A member of staff who works at the store secretly steals a copy, and then does whatever it is he does, then releases the files for *******..

Most shops keep a certain amount available for the day of release, like if they get 500 copies, they will let you pre-order 400 and the rest are sold as normal that day.

You will be able to find it (try sainsburys, usually a bit cheaper as well).



The reviews are amazing so far, I think it is definately going to live up to the hype!

There was a big advert in the paper, GTA is going on sale at midnight at all 24 hour asdas tonight.

6 hours and I'll be playing it (I'm such a loser)
