but seriously, I lost about 40 lbs 3 years ago and here's what I did
I took sugar out of my diet(candy, cookies, donuts, extra sugar in coffee and etc)
I worked out for an hour everyday, 7 days a week
I ate properly, watched my portions and drank tons of water(this is a big key)
Stress can be a bigger contributor to belly fat

It took me about 6 months to do it, and I'm working on losing the rest now cause I got lazy after awhile but kept off the first 40 at least
