I was gonna stop at my N64, but then Prince Of Persia came out and I couldn't resist buying a PS2.
But frankly, I refuse to buy a newer console.
Seriously, what's the point? All the time you waste playing games you could be out with ya mates, earning cash, meeting girls or learning something.
So what when you do buy that shiny new console? You have a maximum of 4 years and a minimum of 2 until a new console comes out and everybody tells you that you have to upgrade. Guess what? No more games to be produced for the old system, despite the fact that you don't need a great system to have great games. A lot of games we see these days could easily run on older systems.
Examples of great games you don't need the latest kit for:
Ace Combat's 4 and Zero.
SOCOM: Tactical Strike
Cannon Fodder
Command and Conquer (and Red Alert)
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Mercenaries
And guess what? You put your details into the rip off machine that is computer games these days, and all your money gets stolen by illegal criminals as well as the legal criminals that are the computer companies! (I'm looking at you, red ring of death, forcing people to buy the same computer several times)
