Help! Mom here with no idea about video games lol.

My son wants a video football game for his birthday. Can anyone recommend the best thing to get (Xbox or whatever else) and which football games are the best to play? He said it doesn't matter and gave two types but I want to get the best one from people who have played it. Thanks!:wave:

Whilst this isn't my area I would think the latest Madden NFL would be your best choice. Although I'm sure someone will be along who knows more about this than I do.

If your american then Madden 2010 is your best bet which you can get online or in stores. If your European (like me, lol) than Fifa Soccer is the game for you. Hope this helps.

Agreed. Madden 2010 is your best bet overall. Most popular. If I had to choose on which system, it'd really be a toss up. PS3 has the the Blu Ray player, but XBox 360 is a little less expensive and has many great options, like the Netflix option. I personally like PS3's graphics slightly more.

I've never been a fan of Madden myself. Every year, I pick up each new iteration of NCAA Football though. That is definitely my favorite football game.
