A sad and disturbing read. I've only skimmed it, but these things have struck me.

- He's really upset by how long it's been since he had sex (understandably). I'm amazed, in the internet age, that he wasn't able to score - unless he was out for some real relationship.... but hell, you'd think some of those online dating services could be helpful !!

- He has lots of problems with his family

- He hates right-wing Christians, esp. fundamentalists, yet he himself talks about, towards the end, going to meet God/Jesus - strange.

- He didn't seem to have any big money problems, had a job, and seemed to live on the straight and narrow (until this little event) - no drugs or boozin'.

- He seems to be angry at women for not giving him a chance, yet seems to really hate himself for being so ineffectual.

Overall, it strikes me as a very sad existence.

Nice post. He probably had a ton of pent up rage and depression over the years. I read about this guy all morning and even tried to find his blog, but I couldn't figure out if I found the right one with so many other bloggers blogging about this.

That's actually quite sad. He was obviously a very lonely person. A person who - from what I can tell - just needed someone to like him or maybe even love him. Or at the very least fuck him a couple of times, so he could release some of that aggression.

But he allowed himself to go down that rabbit hole and look what happened.

I read somewhere that anti-depressant use is rapidly growing. Some of the medication even has a side effect of increased suicidal thoughts.

Media puts pressure on people to be something huge (successful). If they don't become something huge then there nothing in life. If I had this or this I'd be happy, but every time I reach that goal I'm never happy. I need to have a nice car, nice computer, nice tv, nice house, nice women, nice alcohol, nice clothes, and etc. I think most of us think this way from time to time. Maybe not always or ever, but it's still there for many people who live in America. I'm guilty of this.
