Hey, that Norwegian terrorist has a point! /Title: article.

Hey, that Norwegian terrorist has a point!
That appears to be the thrust of some commentary on the Norwegian man alleged to have murdered 76 people last Friday in a terrorist attack that has stunned Norway.

http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Backchannels/2011/0725/Hey-that-Norwegian-terrorist-has-a-point

Anders Behring Breivik's admission that he planted the car bomb at the Oslo prime minister's office and stalked a nearby island, killing 76, had led to speculation about the potential for more mass violence from Europe's radical right.
But some commentators argue that despite his deplorable methods, Mr. Breivik has a point: "Multiculturalism" has failed and Europe should turn back toward the narrower, traditional national cultures of the region.

They argue, Breivik's attacks – among the largest mass murders carried out by a single person in history – should push Europe to redouble its opposition to both Muslim immigration and to Islam itself.

Exhibit A this morning is a Wall Street Journal op-ed by Bruce Bawer, an Oslo-based American critic of the role of Islam in Europe, whose book "While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam Is Destroying the West from Within" was admiringly quoted by Breivik in the rambling 1,500 page manifesto he published online before his rampage.

Hey! That Norwegian terrorist had no point. He is fucking nuts, and killed people because he's a fucking nut job.

Edit: Multiculturalism is working fine in Canada and Europe. It hasn't failed anywhere. One nut-job does not destroy a blanket of multiculturalism.

What about America? Shall we ask the Native Americans what the influx of foreigners and multiculturalism has done for them

Even if there was no Muslims in Norway the likes of Breivik would then want all the other non Christians out, then all the whites that are not ethnically Norwegian, then all the Norwegians that are 'liberal', in the end there will be like 10 people left who dress up as Knights and play Crusades. ps In the aftermath of the attacks I saw plenty of Asian and Black medical personnel helping the injured and probably saving many lives but people don't want to see the positives that foreigners bring to a society, just the negatives.

It's a bit late for that. You should have thought about that before you took my people's land. :nono:

I agree, you're wrong.

Why doesn’t anyone immigrate to Japan?

Japan has the 2nd largest economy in the world, yet few people immigrate there compared to europe, the US, and Australia. Why is that? Sure, a few people more there for a big job in an international business or something…and you have the US military and some foreign asian workers, but other than that Japan has very little immigration. Wouldn’t a person from Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, or Canada want to move there and receive a better life for themselves? What is stopping them from doing so?

Article

Japan has very strict immigration laws.

That wasn't at all what he was saying, but excellent work misquoting him, turning it to your point without proof or reason, and finishing off with a smiley of some sort. You continue to please.

 Why did you come back?

Forced "multiculturalism" has never worked.

Er I know. But that doesn't mean you have to use them. But that is SO typical of YOU and YOUR god!!

 Nice discrimination.

As always, the question should be, if this were Arab/Muslim land and an Arab/Muslim making these same sort of statements, would it generally be accepted or not?

Any reason why you left America - the most diverse country in the world - out of your statement there?

Yes. For a few reasons, and here they are, in no particular order:

1. America is not composed of a multicultural blanket. It is a melting pot. More than any other country I have been in (and that's a lot), people come to America to leave behind their country/culture/language, and become American. This isn't a criticism, so please don't take it as such. It is merely an observation. USA is a melting pot - everyone is boiled down to Americans. No where else in the world is being able to speak only one language celebrated as nationalistic purity.

b. Nations such as Canada (as one example) have legislated multiculturalism. They celebrate the ethnic origins of immigrants, make street signs in foreign languages, create pockets of foreign culture within larger cities.

iii. While America is large and diverse, it certainly is not the most diverse country in the world. It is impossible for Americans to understand the level of diversity that exists in Europe. Stacking countries on top of each other like that, and then throw in immigrants from elsewhere, is way more diverse than any American city. The down side is that this aspect of multiculturalism also ramps up racism, which is alive and well in Europe.

These are my opinions. Feel free to tell me to shut my cake hole.
