if there was a way of deleting your video history in the windows media player, I would like to erase the porn videos that I watched.LOL Thanx in advance

Go to tools and select options, then go to the privacy tab and at the bottom there is the history section, make sure it is not checked, then go to the clear history and clear caches and click on both of them. Finallt click apply. Good luck and pretty sure this is the way to do it, at least in Media Player 10.

do anyone know how to erase history from IE explorer other than the click tools internet options and delete history...i mean like to delete everything...I'm quitting my job soon and have some "websites" i want to vanish...also i have yahoo as my homepage and i want to get rid of the auto complete and delete all of those...THANKS!!!

Usually i am able to go in and delete all cookies and pages and every thing
is gone.

This thread got me to second guess myself. Tell me if the following will erase all trases of visiting porn sites, watching porn vids, ect. from my pc.

I right click on my Internet Explorer icon, click "properties", click "clear History", click "delete files" and "delete cookies".

Will this take care of it or is there something more I should do? Does this take care of windows media player, or do I need to do something seperate?

A good start, but most of y'all are going to have a be a lot more thorough than that. For instance: go to start, find, then files and folders and type the the letters jpg in the "named" space. Hit the enter key and see what turns up. For most people the result is quite a surprise.

Ok, what if you are using Windows XP. I cant find a "find" or "files & Folders"

You could go to Start>Accessories>System Tools>Disc Cleanup or download some program that specializes in that sort of things.

go to download.com and look for a program called all-in-one secretmaker. you select everthing you want clear and it stays in the bottom right column and you just select clear and it clears history and everyting else you want automatically. works pretty well for me.
