Hot d'Or 2009 - Freeones nominated !

From 1992 'till 2001, the Hot d'Or were the most famours adult movie awards in Europe, mostly because the ceremony was organised in Canne, during the famous Cannes film Festival (but they weren't of course part of the festival, in fact, the organisers of the festival were quite angry with the Hot d'Or...)
In 2001, there was so much pressure from the Cannes Film Festival that thre ceremony was forced to delocalise it self from Cannes to a small venue nearby. That lead the organisers to stop the organisation of the Hot d'Or

After a hiatus of 8 years the Hot d'Or are back. But this year, to avoid pressure from the organisrs of the Cannes Film Festival (and reduce the cost) the ceremony will be in Paris on October 20th.

-Best Female Performer (French, European, American)

Yeah, but it is organised by a french porn magazine (Hot Video) and on of the objectives is to develop the adult industry in its audience in France, so it's quite logical to get the spotlight on the french adult industry.
