Yeah, I wonder about all those cancer "researh" funds and stuff sometimes. Seems like with ALL the money they get, they could have found something by now.

Or do they have something close to a cure, and they just don't want to put because they want the patients to continually come back for more and more treatments wihch = $$$$

I used to work in cancer research. I have seen multiple forms cured with the simplest of things (Vitamin C, antioxidants, MANY drugs, etc), but only in lab animals. Repeatable results over and over. The US FDA is a cocksucker about approving something for human testing. My guess is THIS is where the $$$$ you mention comes into play. The drug makers have far more money than the researchers.

Both suffering cancer and in the public eye with a fanbase, albeit different ones at that. From what Ive seen and read patrick has never shown weakness with his illness, asked for pity nor seemingly struggled to pay bills. I dont know what his personal fortune is but i doubt his bills would be so high as to bankrupt him, unless she squandered what she made with little to show for it, then I refuse to believe it would be so high either to having her resort to handouts -

This is very sad. i feel very sorry for her. Although, i was never a fan of hers, i have heard that she is very nice in person.

I agree, she mismanaged money, but I hope the best for her. I have no prob w/ her begging for cash or someone be nice to give her cash. cancer is horrible and I don't think she deserves to suffer through such a terrible fate. Healthcare is a fucking rip and totally heartless.

She's got cancer for fucks sake. Have a bit of heart. You don't have to give her money, but at least give the woman a bit of sympathy. She likely didn't save any money for medical care because NO ONE expects to get illnesses like that. I'm sure some fans have offered to help her out so she started up a site or whatever so her peeps have a place to do their part to make her life a bit less stressful in this difficult time. Its no different than anyone setting up fundraisers or raising money for people who have problems with medical bills. Healthcare isn't cheap right? Doesn't matter who you are, its expensive as hell.
