Hover Hands - WTF?

I was reading a interesting thread recently that brought up the subject of "Hover Hands". It occurs when a man takes a picture with a woman and does not place his hand on her but rather leaves it hovering over her somewhere (see link below for examples). I cant think of any rationale for this other than virginity or some religious belief. The only one of these I can maybe agree with is the Al Gore pic (bottom of page 3) for obvious reasons.

So Freeones. Do you hover?

And to the OCSM's, is this common when you take pictures with fans or men in general?

It's the same premise as that "bubbling" crap the Mormons do, it doesn't work. The urges never go away.
