They also go around pretending that they care about people and want to make a difference in the community, and talking all sorts of bullshit to people. Everyone who has ever voted knows that there are no names on a ballet. You either pick from 1, 2, or 3. The green party just doesn't have any luck on it's side for winning. It should be winning 33% of the time.

This has often been talked about in Australia also. The idea is that the risk to the public of high speed chases in unacceptable, as a pretty high proportion (I think) of police chases end in the bad guy crashing.

I haven't watched the vid but I know in southern California there is thought being given to whether or not the practice of high speed chases should be continued.

The chases are injuring too many people and destroying property. I don't believe you can just allow people to run but you don't have to be behind them doing 90 mph either since they have helicopter support.

If times are tough financially and they're loosing money on insurance. Maybe it was the right thing to do...... ?
