If I can achieve between 7 and 8 hours per night then I'm fine.

Ditto. I can go less for one night and be ok, but if I get less than 7 a couple of nights in a row, I'm non-functional with regards to my higher level brain functions.

Flu/fever/cough = no sleep for BlueBalls.
