You need to do things that will throw him off balance. Hold up your i-phone so he's the only one who can see it-have the photo of Charles Manson where he's bugging out his eyes in the classic "Crazy? Me? A-HAHAHAHAHA!" expression.

I just found this-a photo of Applewhite, the Heaven's Gate guy-that's always good. It's like the OED definitions of "bat-shit crazy" and "bugfuck crazy" should include his photo.

You can also make sure he's getting interesting e-mail offers: his subscription to the Forced Enema newsletter, some fan mail sent from "The Ladyboy Hotel", Bangkok-that IS the street address.

The magic of manipulation is no magic, it is a bunch of techniques. You described some of them.

But you have an advantage: You can go from playing straight to using some dirty tricks, while they sure won't start to act fair so soon. Use that advantage.

Basically, what they do is talk and act differently with the different persons or minigroups in your family, however they see they can push the right buttons to get the effect they want. This works, because the different people either do not communicate so good, or they do not believe each other, when told about this.

Here is an angle: Is this happening in one house or, say, two? LIke your place and parents main house? Here's what you can do, and yes, it is a dirty trick, but it can help you.

INstall some surveillance tech, audio/video. Must look innocent, or better not be noticed. For an example, there are shops that sell this tech in random-looking household items.

Record their bullshitting and replay it to the people they abuse.

Or just tape them with some sort of dictaphone which you can öleave somewhere like under a table etc and use that later

I try to avoid people like that.... life is too short to spend it watching your back for backstabbers.

But it you can't avoid them, always keep tabs on what they say/do, because eventually you will have a chance to expose them. Liars often do themselves in, deceit will eventually cause its own downfall.:2 cents:

Thing is this guy just doesn't say a whole lot in front of people and usually says sly things when people are not around and it's just one on one otherwise he uses his facial expressions to show what he things but it's quite unjustified usually. It annoys me mostly because I get on with everyone and it's only a few stuck up snobby people who judge me and he is one of those.

Boy that sucks... a guy that "talks" behind someone's back... That's not cool at all. What a way to "make friends and influence people." He sounds like a complete moron. [Select a stronger word for significance....]

Please get as far away from him as possible. Wish your sister well, and try to avoid him at all costs.

Honestly....douche bags are douche bags. You see them for who they are. To me, there seems like there is some jealousy here. If it is, it's your worse enemy. If you a good dude and you help out others like sister's boyfriend....you'll look good too. True colors come out eventually. If he is a douche bag, people will eventually realize that. If you try to confront this guy in front of everyone who looks good to everyone, you will clearly look like the douche bag. Let it go, it will expose itself in time.
