how to write links?

can anyone explain to me how to create links without getting "****"?

if you post or type a url and it results in ***** then the site you are trying to link to is banned and the boards software automatically inserts the **** instead of the name of the site.

You start with the L, following I, N, K, and lastly, S.

Put them together and that should be, well, what you already wrote but must have forgotten and.... :eek:
