There's this guy that I recently just seen, he hates me and has been holding a grudge against me, I want to fight him, but I don't know if he is gonna try to mob me, I have an idea though, I have like this swithblade, that I dub the "Equalizer", is it worth it to use it, can I get fucked up. I need your guys help.

If you are scared and need to carry a knife just to "equalize" the situation, then fighting is not for you. I suggest talking to him. Try to find out why he has a grudge against you. Maybe you'll become friends in the end. :glugglug:

well if you are really serious about this , think about bringin an iron knuckle instead , a knife could get really messy. with a iron knuckle you may knock him out and not kill him

but ofcourse you should try to talk to him as the guy above suggested!

A switchblade oir straight razor will get you fucked up real quick, even killed.... UNLESS you are a knife fighter, which many civilian people aren't... it's too close of an "in-fighting" weapon, rserved for those with training.

Rather than aggressively go after a fight, talk to that guy... find out what his beef is and if it resorts to physical violence, use your fists. If it means defending yourself against multiples, get a leather sap or a baseball bat. Any kind of solid object with length and thickness can be used defensively as well as offensively.

In "in-fighting", the person who uses the most extreme weapon is the one who usually gets hurt the first and quite often, the worst.

Talk to him first... ALWAYS. Use wisdom rather than brute force.... using your head is so much better than losing blood or your life.

When it all comes down to it.... what you REALLY need to do is just avoid the guy completely. I'm not advocating running away from a fight, but why add fuel to the fire by antagonizing him? Use your head, think smart... no sense in squaring off with someone if there's no need.

Anyway, what was said before - talk to him first. Anyway, you mentioned you just recently have seen him - is it a co-worker, a friend of a friend; like AC stated, avoid him if possible if you don't see this guy regularly, I would.

Logic...

You have 3 options:
1 - Fight him and A) Risk getting fucked up beyond recognition or B) beating him up and getting the risk of getting fucked up by his crew.

2 - Change your whole life and run from him.

3 - (my choice) ignore each other. you both hate each other, and as long as he stays out of your way and you stay out of his way, why bother doing anything else? if he pisses you off - you'll make trouble and vice versa. Is it really worth it to fight? Not unless he does somthing to you.

Bring a weapon into it is bullshit...you do realize he can press charges on you? Keep it home...dont even carry it on you...what if he gets it away from you? and then stabs you?

DO you or any of us really need this?

Look...if youre going to go fight then fight like a man...but if you bring a knife, you deserve what you get...its not honorable...

If you use the weapon to strike first then you could go up for attempted murder....that's not going to be a fun time.
If he attacks first and you use it in self defense then you could still be charged for having a weapon.

Why risk it?

Just go about your life and don't worry about who hates you because if that person wants to fight you then they will try.
Learn pressure points and quick self defense tips/tricks.
And remember that kicking a guy in the nutts may not be fair...but it ends most situations.

Ok, you guys are right, I should just ignore him, if we do see each other, i'll try to talk to him, but knowing him, he'll just want to fight me. I will not use the knife that I got, cause reality just hit me, what if he got the knife, than it would be over for me. But yeah, to the above poster, I'm 17 and he is 18, I ask this question is because I never got into a fight before, cause I never caused any problems. Thanks for the help you guys.
