yup there are creepy guys out there...but all they have to do, if they dont like someone, is remove them from their friend list...then why so reluctant still.

i think there is something else which makes them hesitant to make male online friends...and i cannot understand what it is.

That's bullshit, plenty of my friends are women and sexual tension has never come into it. Also, I've had sex with some of my female friends and it hasn't hurt the friendship at all. Men and women aren't really all that different, in the important ways.
