Well, I'll say this, which I should have said in my original post: If the Anti-Obamacare people want to achieve traction, they need to start talking to people and not AT people. Seriously, I don't know if it's better, worse, or more of the same. And not one politician has ever convinced me of anything.
I have come to the conclusion that ever releasing personal details on this board has been a mistake. Everything I've said about myself, in good faith, has been used against me. So fuck it, I might as well keep going. Wanna know why I'm a poker dealer/casino dealer? Because I can't do anything else that makes this kind of money, that I'm suited for. I have a serious problem with my right foot, which has been going on well over 10 years. One time, when I was using the insurance that was coming out of each paycheck, to address it, I was fired. Four exemplary performance citations in my file, and I get fired for using the insurance I'm paying for. I also have what appears to be a serious nerve problem in my left shoulder, which hurts as I type this. I have prescription Naproxin, Cyclobenziprine and every single day I float on a sea of Tylenol. I've blown a couple grand on massage therapy, which hasn't done shit. Currently the only thing that comes close to working for the shoulder is a cellphone looking thing that you plug pads into, put the pads on the area you want "massaged", and set the duration and strength. It's just a stop-gap that if not used, the pain becomes unbearable and my left arm becomes unusable.
For the foot alone, before I was fired, the doc told me the operation would be $6000 and I would be flat on my back for 4-6 weeks. I can't afford either.
So what am I supposed to wish for? I can tell you this much, Ted Cruz reading Sam I Am hasn't done shit for either condition or for the "up my neck and through my head" headaches that are probably coming from the shoulder problem that for all I know happened because of the foot problem. And in case you ever wondered, John Boehner's voice does NOT have healing powers. Mitch McConnell's voice makes it worse....and causes locusts.
I want my fuckin' health back. I may be a prick, but I don't deserve this. I want to be able to go for a walk. Do you know how many Vegas casinos have bowling alleys? I do and I can't go to any of them. Show me where the GOP gives two shits. And don't blame me for grasping at any straw that comes along. If Obamacare winds up not working, so be it. But at least the Dems tried. The Republicans (except for Mitt Romney, ironically enough) haven't done a damn thing.
