Pubic hair. That's right! Anybody remember when it was normal for a girl to have pubic hair, and nobody thought it was a sign that she was "unhygenic"? In fact, if you were at a house party and slid your hand into a girl's panties and she didn't have pubic hair, THAT was a problem.

I miss the attitude and mood of some old computer games (C64 and Amiga era games mostly). It seemed like the extreme limitations of the computers of that time brought out the core of what games really are about: fun. True, there were a lot of horribly, uncannily bad games in those times as well but overall, the ratio of signal vs. noise seemed to be a lot better than it is now. They were also generally a lot more difficult then! :elaugh:

But I really don't miss the fact that games were usually left without patches, even if there were game-breaking bugs in some cases.

Quality cartoons not the PC shite on nowadays.

Football (soccer) seemed so much more entertaining a decade away but as transfer fees and wages shot up teams are now full of overpaid spoilt brats.

Derelicts buildings and open spaces etc, somewhere for us kids to explore. The economics boom of the 90s meant every rundown (often character) building or open space was made into flats or new homes. Now there's fucking people everywhere, homes everywhere you look and traffic all day long. Like a fucking circus.

Girls not caked in make up or wearing skin tight clothes, how's a man to concentrate seeing that all day long. You'd think that would be good but come on how much can our minds take.

Sticker albums and other weekly publications like Discovery that you could collect.

Less choice in the supermarkets, now there's like 30 different ketchups and 50 cereals not too mention the the store own brands.

There used to be some half decent politicians, not the self promoting scum we have nowadays.

Society in general. No one has time for anyone else or even cares for that matter. Money you make seems to be the only gauge of how successful someone is, you aint got a good job or your own home and you're seen as some sort of epic failure who may as well just kill themselves. Too much overcrowding everywhere, buses, trains, shops, schools or hospitals you name it. Senseless violence on people and animals for seemingly no motive than 'kicks', the stories I often post on here are testament to that.
