.....Boddingtons.

I am a beer fiend. I love it. I brew it. I drink it. I enjoy it. I have sampled beer from all around the world, and the beers that I love are too numerous to list here. But there is one that sets the bar, raises the standard, finishes before all the others.....and in my opinion, it is Boddingtons.

It has the perfect level of hops. It is not too malty. EVERY glass has a perfectly formed head (no, not that kind). It is smooth. It has incredible flavor. It is perfectly carbonated.

When I drink one, it is gone IMMEDIATELY.....and I drink another right away.

There is no other finely crafted, blended beer in the world that even comes close to that which is........Boddingtons.

To those who are in the U.K., I am jealous, as you can have it on tap, and I must drink it from a can.......and it still kicks the crap out of everything here.

To Boddingtons.....and the British.....for showing the world how you make a quality beer. :glugglug:

Boddingtons is fine but for my taste there are other very interesting beers out there including:

- Summer Lightning (or anything else from the Hopback brewery)
- Tanglefoot (or pretty much anything from the badger brewery)
- Anything from the Buttcombe brewery

I'm not really a beer drinker but I like a cold Palm (a Belgian beer) from time to time. Chimay Blue Special is also a nice Belgian beer, it has a hint of liquorice to it.

Chimay is a good beer. I prefer Trois Pistoles from the Unibroue brewery though. Most Belgian beers are great.
