It's funny how people like to offend other people these days, remaining anonymous behind a keyboard and making a fool to the say the least of themselves. I've just been called a crackhead on my new gal on Freeones; i was curious to check other gals and i've seen similar comments to other girls.

Then i saw the Freeones-not-at-Venus topic where another "being" (men are a different thing) calls all the men attending fairs creepy disgusting guys. Now i'm curious and i search the forums a bit deeper and i see a lot of posts of "beings" calling other men garbage of society because they don't have huge cocks or six packs.

I'm not upset...usually i ignore trolls and as i said above i find them sort of funny in their poor, little way of relating to the rest of the world. At the end it's not even their fault. I blame their parents for having ignored them or for falsely having "taken care" of them just letting them do all they wanted.

I don't know what most of the people think here, but some healthy spanking when you are a kid can make miracles. It's much better a bit of constructive frustration when you are a kid than a miserable unhappy life when you are an adult. For everybody.

Why do you have to be creepy for attending an adult convention? Just curious. Is sex so bad? Why are you all here then? Isn't this a virtual adult convention? I admire people who are hung and six packed and cultured and intelligent and successful behind a keyboard and then they are brave enough to show up at adult conventions and to show the real them.

I have a lot of experience about this. I have processed thousands of appliocations to my WBT in 4 years and i can assure you that all those people who were claiming to be super heroes on their application they never showed up when it was time to show it. That's creepy to me

Er, I never claimed to be anything. :dunno: I'm just an average guy. Taller (and maybe more handsome ) than most but still pretty average.

Not everyone is here for the porn. I lurked here for awhile before I joined in order to see the attachments in the funny pictures thread. There's something here for everyone, and it's not always naked women. Now I rarely post outside the talk forum.

That was just my opinion on conventions. I'd never go to them myself, but I'm sure people enjoy them. I don't have a problem with them, I just wouldn't attend one. There's really not anyone that I'd be interested in meeting. Plus, I just think it would be awkward.

I think it's just the stereotype most folks in the US give to the types that go to these things. Sex is a private thing so those that go to adult conventions must be unsocialized creepy guys who can't get a real girl and still live in their mom's basement.

Kind of like those of us who go to sci-fi or gaming conventions are losers with no lives who geek it out to star trek. (for the record, I've NEVER dressed up in a star trek uniform)

PETRA, yeah i guess you're right. It's one of the mysteries of the US for me their vision on surface "morality" and stuff like that. I'm generalizing of course.

In the U.S. we love porn, we make more of it and consume more of it than anywhere else, but stigmatize the people who work in it. People can get weird about sex!

But I agree with this and Sabrina's original post. I've never been to an adult convention, but it's more because I've never had the opportunity, not because I think it would be weird. I go to car shows, car races, gun shows and a number of other things that interest me. I don't think anyone has said going to those things makes me weird (at least not to my face). I don't think this would be any different. In the past, I went to more than a few strip bars. And really, a strip bar is sort of like an adult convention, except you get to sit down and drink while "interacting". I don't really watch much porn these days, but especially if I could meet some of the legendary porn stars from the past, that I used to really be turned on by (Christy Canyon, Ginger Lynn, Vanessa del Rio, Seka, et al), I'd go in a heartbeat. As for being called "weird", I'm sure I've been called worse. Call me anything you want, as long as you don't call me late for dinner!

BTW, when you get off the Romulan kick, any chance you'd dress up as a Tok'ra from Stargate SG-1? :shy:
