17 year olds aren't yet able to make their own decisions in life? It's ridiculous to think that a 17 year old girl isn't capable of making a conscious decision to appear in a commercial porn movie. How can the law believe that a 17 year old girl is mature enough to be able to drive a motorized vehical on city streets, putting herself in a situation where she could potentially maim or even kill someone, but she's not yet mature enough to decide to suck dick in a movie that is sold in stores? From a completely logical, secular standpoint, people should be able to appear in commercial porn starting at the age of 16, at the latest.

Some would argue it's 21-22 before you really mature, at least in the teenage environment of the US.
I know I had a few lovers in their late '30s / early '40s when I was 18, which many 18 year olds would think is a "conquest" at the time.
But thinking back, those women were really pushy and tried to get me to do things I wasn't ready for (like creampie them), and really took advantage of my age (especially when it came to their attitude when I wouldn't do something).
