I look at porn all the time, but I am forced to agree with you. I am addicted and don't particularly like it. I am an academic and have read scientific papers discussing how you can become physically addicted to porn. I don't believe in god but I do think that porn is immoral and all of you who look at it with no guilt are fooling yourselves. Do you think that these models enjoy what they do, or do they do it for the money? I don't know for sure but my gut feeling is that it is the latter.

Religion's have been responsible for some of the most cruel and immoral acts in history and they were only created to control civilization and give hope to the hopeless. I'm just saying that I'm addicted to porn and the short-term gratification always seems to win out over the long-term guilt. For somebody who's not religious you certainly sound religious. Do you really think that women like Jenna Jameson are forced to do porn? She has all the money in the world and if she didn't want to do porn then she wouldn't have too. Granted in the beginning she didn't have money but now she does and she still does porn. The same applies to a lot of other pornstars. I won't deny that there is the occasional pornstar that doesn't want to do porn but usually those pornstars are the ones that make one or two movies then retire.

If you really want to know how pornstars feel about doing porn then why don't you ask the pornstars that frequent this board. I'm 100% positive they will say that they choose to do what they do.

The fact of the matter is that male pornstars are exploited more than female pornstars. Not only do they get paid way less but they are the ones that are truly treated like meat. And you know what, I'd still give anything to be a male pornstar even if they do get treated like shit.

If you feel guilt about looking at porn then you need to see a therapist because there's nothing wrong with looking at porn.

It's no one's place to judge another. It's disrespectful, egregious, and disingenuous to do so. We're free to have opinions of each other, but we should not cast aspersions about, or make judgments of, each other. We're all "guilty" of doing so, to some degree, but for some people, it's like a way of life, and it's irritating and disheartening...

I'm with nightfly here it's true that everyone makes judgements of people and that for some it is unfortunatley a way of life. Chrisman why do you look at porn if you feel guilty about it and why the fuck would you feel guilt for it, the vast majority of women are in the business because they want to be, hence the quantity of porn movies around, granted you get a few who look miserable and only do it to to pay there bills but like brino says they usually retire after 1 or 2 movies.

While the first half of that statement is true (as long as you're only referring to organized religion) I got a problem with the "hope for the hopeless" part. I fail to see how believing in something makes a person hopeless.
