Important Rule Change

Beginning sometime tomorrow, we will start a new rule/policy regarding posting on the board. The change is large and affects all members and moderators, so please read:

In order to avoid post count spamming and illegal link posting, all members and moderator will be limited to posting 3 posts per day on the board. Any posts more than three will be deleted by a moderator. Frequent violators will be banned.

Thanks and please understand and comply with the new rule. The board will still be a great place!

so just to be clear we are talking 3 posts per day on freeones fav babe board and not 3 posts per thread/topic - say 3 posts in Monique Alexanders thread in a day. In which case the board won't be a great place as it is, it will just be mediocre

yeah...im a little confused about that too. I thought contributing is what a made the forum stand out.

oh crap...i just posted...only two left? what a drag.

Why cant that be a rule for new members or something, because I and so many others actually try real hard to contribute multiple posts that are legit and try to follow the rules the best we can. Or at least let us post 5. Im not making demands...just suggestions. I like the board a lot, and the people...so I will deal with what we are given in order to be a part of it.:hatsoff:

maybe a ban on the "great post" and smilie based posts, that have nothing to do with the topic - this is what the rep system is for after all isn't it? stick to legit links and full comments in the posts.
Example - i post a set of links in Adele Stephens thread, at least six people made comments as posts, but only two via rep, the praise is appreciated but it has a habit of filling up threads quickly - then again the rep system is rather weighted against anyone posting regularly so many people have to use the posts to give thanks.

Actually it's BNF who's the April Fool, after all he posted it in March. Had he posted it today, before noon, he might have got a way with it.
