anyone else have this game? Its exclusive to the PS3. Insanely cool game and gets better with every new electricity power I open up as I make progress. Check it out if you have a ps3 and havent played it yet. Its a must purchase no doubt.

I am in the last section of the game just now.

I dont know if there is a spoiler option to blank out parts of posts that can only be read if you hold your mouse icon over the blanked out part. So everything in CAPS will have to do for now as a warning.

SPOILERS BELOW ON HOW TO DEFEAR A CERTAIN BOSS [NOT THE FINAL BOSS THOUGH].



I have just finished off one of the bosses, Alder, or what ever his name is. Just keep moving and diving while shooting at the section of the monster that Alder is sitting in. Use the Hammer bolt I think it's L1 + Triangle to use that move. Fire it constantly at him. And then when the scuttlers [spider like creatures that are metal and glow yellow] arrive on your platform just zap them with eleccy, or grenade them, then focus on Alder again. And just repeat till the battle is over. There are four recharge points on your platform usuall two are active at any given time of you only charge yourselve from two at a time. This gives the others time to recharge. During all of this the boss will either fire in a rapid fire small pieces of rock at you, just press Circle to hide behind the barrier at the top of your platform when this happens, or you can try and roll/dive out of the way, but you usually get hit sometimes. He performs another move as well, but it is pretty easy to counter too.

It is annoying this whole exclusive thing both companies are doing. Not to me as I have both machines. But in general it is as not everyone has both machines. So they are losing out on Xbox exclusives and PS exclusives. Sony are only doing what Microsoft are doing so if one is bad for it, both are.

If I had to ban one thing [besides Jessica Alba's use of clothes in her movies] it would have to be Exclusives to any conosle. Exclusives are the work of the devil. That's actually two things I'd ban, but who's counting.

I picked this game up over at Hastings while they were having their Buy 2 get another for a dollar sale. I played the demo and liked what I saw. When I get more time, I will play it.

The electricity effects are cool as hell,makes you feel like a badass.Even simple stuff like reviving a civillion w/a defib shock is cool to do over and over to get upgrade points.Usually games with a power based on one thing get old and repetitive. Not the case here as Im getting more interested in unlocking new electrical powers in every sit down. And like I said none of the starting abilities ever get old so its a recipe for a killer new ip.

as i stated i rented it. but never got around to playing it cause i am just so hung up on Fallout3.
then i went to VEgas for a hockey tournament and i had the game well over
2 1/2 weeks. just sitting there. i did notice that since i did not return it in the 7 day rent period Blockbuster charged me 64 bucks for the game.
i actually played it yesterday. it was OK.
fighting the goons with the hoods got annoying, it seemed like no matter where you were they are always shooting at you and i didn't like that. it made the game tiresome. for an "open" world game where you can go anywhere and climb buildings,run across wires from building to building and such, it was like everytime i tried to explore even just a little bit those dopes were shooting at my 3,4,5 at a time.
i had to take the game out due to frustration.
i may rent it agin sometime but i was getting mad barely an hour into the game.returning it today to get my 64 bucks back!

maybe rent it again bro cause after you do missions you start taking over certain parts of the city one by one and in those parts the enemies are driven away, meaning when you are in the yellow zone on your hud map you wont get shot at, when your hud map is outlined in red then you have to keep your eye out and be ready for some combat cause the enemies can freeroam in those areas.

That said,it gets much better as the game goes on for people that have gripes with such as the ones you expressed,no offence please.

but i don't play online i don't have the patience to play people who either quit on you or just cheat to win.

i only played my friend like 2 games a night cause we played the game respectably. not going for it every 4th down. not finding the plan that ALWAYS works. you know shit like that.
and im actually a NJ Devils fan, i just never want to let the WHALE go!
