Iphone vs Blackberry

I have owned a blackberry pearl and now I own an Iphone...Im just wondering what do you guys think is better Iphone or Blackberry....I miss my blackberry because of the "pushed" email and pushed facebook application and the blackberry instant messanger, but I love the iphone and all the cool apps and free apps (i know blackberry now has an app store too...), so what do you guys think is better...Iphone or blackerries

I switched to the HTC Touch pro,never used an i phone before.

Never tried an I phone but I'm on this site on my BB. If you want your phone net to look like the actual website get Opera Mini. I think its faster too because it compresses the days before sending it to the phone. Great in an evdo area. Also try myxer for ringtones. No cost. pandora radio through my phone to the car or just sitting around. Push weather. Email facebook rss streaming video yahoo messenger msn messenger google talk to keep in touch with computers and BB messenger for other blackberrys. No Flash Player Though. Not enough memory I guess. A lot of video is h264 now and it won't play it. And blackberry maps comes with the phone has GPS with navigation for free just uses data. If you wanna tell another BB owner where you are you can send your location too. Alltel (my carrier) makes you have a data plan with a smart phone anyways so you never go over with data. Pretty much standard these days. Oh. And it will play any mp3 not just itunes.

Everyone I know who has an I-Phone says it is fantastic for everything other than being a phone. If I could get the "real" web on my Blackberry instead of mobile web, I'd have no complaints about it other than the dial on the keyboard.

Hey does anyone here have Blackberry Storm? I'm with Verizon right now and I really want to stay with them because I get a 15% monthly discount through my workplace. I'd like an iPhone but I think the Blackberry Storm seems to have mostly the same stuff I'm looking for... I've heard mixed reviews on it though, and I don't really want to take a gamble on a $200 product.

Also I was thinking of holding out for the Blackberry Storm 2 which was supposed to come out this summer, but now it was pushed back to December.

One of my co-workers bought a Storm and quickly returned it. Cumbersome and problem-laden like a lot of first-generation products according to her. I'm going to wait and see what develops before making a switch....my World Edition B'Berry works just fine. I'm also a Verizon devotee.

i had an iphone before and since january i got an used blackberry.
so i will not missed my blackberry now because its better and easyer to handle
iphone is da shit.. apple should be create more cool mp3 players like the ipod 160gb or something

Everytime I see the Iphone ads on tv and all the goddamn apps. I really want that damn phone device thing. But I want to touch the Blackberry Storm(?), I heard it was different.

I'm told the Blackberry Storm is awesome. But the Storm 2 is coming out in November. At least in Canada anyways. It will be all touch screen, no buttons and will not use the surepress function the first Storm has. I'd wait for the new one.

Iphone's main selling point is the Apps. But we'll see how Blackberry does with their apps. Anybody know anything about it?

Anyways...If you want a phone, with extra...get a Blackberry. If you want a toy, that can be a phone...Get an Iphone.

But absolutely do not get an HTC Touch.

If you're a business person, the Blackberry line in general is pretty much dominating the market, but for personal use, the market is a little bit more pointed towards the iPhone.

I prefer a computer. I can't stand using a phone for anything else than calling someone. Even texting is a hassle for me.

You can have the "real" web on your phone. www.mini.opera.com on your mobile browser. Download it and the normal web pages and add a bookmark with a speed dial. Can even add search boxes from any website to the phone. I have a box for searching eBay wikipedia google google image. Same layout as computer not the long single column. Has a little box to move to where you wanna go when its zoomed out. Zoom in and its normal. Sometimes tries steering you to mobile sites but ussually scroll down and the full one will be there.

The iPhone is quite amazing...but the Omnia HD is the best phone ever made and I will be getting one sooooon. U can watch 720p movies on this bad boy.
