Is a 5 year age gap between a couple too much?

Age has never been a problem for me, but I have just started dating a 27 year old (I'm 32), and a few of my friends have said she is too young!!
Need the opinions of some sane people please!

Not at all. My experience has been interesting. Because most people always thought I was fairly mature for my age, when I was younger (relatively) older women were very attracted to me. Now that I'm relatively older and most people don't think I look anything like my age, most relatively younger women are attracted to me. :dunno:

Five years was too big a difference when I was 22 and fell for a girl I learned was only 17.

A 23 years old girl dating a 23 years old boy, they may have some age-gap troubles.

Nope... I've got 2 relatives that are married with people respectively 12 years older & 11 or 12 years younger than them, so I'd say no.

Besides, everything over 18 is legal & as long as you both want it, go for it.

That it a load of crap! Most of my friends married girls 3-5 years younger. My Mom was 4years younger than my dad. If she is mature and what you are looking for, it should be no issue.

What are you supposed to do? Sit at home and bravely and thankfully acknowledge society's frowning on you?

5 years is nothing, unless you don't go to the gym at least for a few months every so often, or try keep yourself reasonably young looking through not smoking, good diet, at least walking.
