Ironically when I initially typed the title of this thread I made a type-o and then went back and fixed it. I don't wanna be banned, so I'm not gonna test the system and convey the name somehow. :dunno:

word "Free" and words "credit card" are mutually exclusive. So when you see them together, someone is trying to make fool of you.

I know some sites bill wants credit card info for a 1 or 3 day trial, then they bill you if you don't cancel.

If there was a site that said it was 100% free and still wanted my creditcard info, I would not trust them, ever.

Nothing is free. If you are thinking about joining a website, join for a complete month then cancel before it automatically renews. Forget those 2-3 day trials, they're a bunch of BS with limited features. I've been down that road before.

BTW, if it is eg. Clickandbuy, with an overseas account, it is advisable to cancel by the 11th of the month, or else you will pay for another month. Only in the States are you allowed to cancel at the 11th hour to avoid another month's charges.
