Is Anyone or Has Anyone been a Direct Buy Member?

If you are or have been, please help me....

So I attended a Direct Buy Orientation with my parents today and I thought it was a fairly nice system of purchasing merchandise. I attended with my parents to give them financial advice and advised them against joining membership since they don't make the purchases necessary to warrant them savings...

However I, myself, was interested in this club because in the near future, I'll probably be looking to purchase my own house and I will have to buy alot stuff, furniture, decoration, electronics, bedding, kitchen stuff etc....

I'm still somewhat skeptic and I just wanted to know if there are any members here on the board or if you have been a Direct Buy member and if you are satisfied with their products and services? Also, have you saved as great amount of money as they make it seem like you will in the orientations? Or if you can give me anymore additional advice about this program, I'd be extremely grateful.

Yeah you do, that's why I advised my parents against it, basically the way I calculated it, If you spend $90,000 in ten years, you'll save an average $23,000 from MSRP, you save $30,000 minus the $7,000 membership fee so i figured it is only worth it if you're planning on spending alot.
