My Dad met a woman online and they have been together for 8 years.

A very good friend of mine met a girl online 2 years ago, and he moved in with her a few months back.

I don't know why online-dating still has this very taboo feel about it, but believe me, in 10 years time meeting a partner online will be even more "the norm" than meeting someone at a bar.

My former best friend met a girl online, went to Australia, fucked her, came back home, then moved there to be with her and has been there for about 6 months or so. He totally abandoned his son and family and moved. I don't think it's wrong to hook up with someone you met online, but get your priorities straight first.
