Another example of what?

Taking something that is considered historically accurate and changing it for their own personal knowledge.

Like N. Korea not telling kids that the kids movies they love from companies like Pixar are actually based in a country as horrible as America.

For instance with my original example. History champions the Spartans for their bravery against an "evil" empire. If you're Persian you take the stance that Spartans were rebels at best and won a few small battles that meant nothing to a far reaching Empire that brought stability to millions in the ancient world.

Two different paradigms, different ways of looking at the same events and minimizing certain ones to the point they are ignored and eventually forgotten depending on what side you're on.

I don't want to debate it but I have not believed that 6 million jews were killed by the Germans since I was old enough to do math.
There wasn't even 6 million jews in all the area the germans occupied at their peak.
So unless they killed every one in that area plus managed to kill another million by mental telepathy the number doesn't jive.
Its just not possible, so I figure if they would lie about something as sensitive a sacred to them as that then I don't believe anything else after that.

Could it be possible that from late 44 to April 45 during that horrible winter that Germany was in such bad shape that they had no food, no fuel, no medicine no nothing and in those 5 0r 6 months the prisoners in the camps starved, got sick, died because of that?
5 months with no food in 0 degree weather will do a number on your body.
Then when all the photos and video were taken in april 45 the media, the military and the jewish ran with the story and stuck to it?

so thats a good example of what I said earlier about analyzing and thinking and not just blindly believing what some teacher or group of people who wanted a prime portion of palestine given to them because they supposedly lived there 2000 years ago said.

At that point all jews were considered the enemy and locked up.

Interesting film on the setup of German propaganda films. History is never completely revealed and unfiltered. That however doesn't mean things that happened were "hoaxes" or elaborate conspiracy theories.

Unless you have hard proof. The majority of which is and has been on the side of it happening. I'm not sure I can believe an entire generation of much more than 6million people would willingly buy into a stigma that their people brutalized minorities if it were all a hoax.

That's not to say that History isn't wrong sometimes. Look at Custer being considered a hero by everyone until people's attitudes of the Indian wars changed. His motivations were also realized later on...that he was a glory seeker and quite brutal etc...

That doesn't mean his killing of Native Americans was a hoax to allow Native Americans appear as the "victim" later on and get larger reservations and have special rights for casinos and land they used to hold sovereignty over.

I don't know how it is in other places but in the U.S. unless somebody is using slander, libel, is using it to obstruct justice, or is committing perjury under oath there is nothing illegal about lying.

That's why it's important for one to think for themselves and look at more than one source of information and have their sources of information they go to be reliable.

Some historical events are certainly debatable and often depend on which side won the war. But that doesn't mean that there isn't a "true" version out there to be found.

The search for the truth is THE most important thing for humans IMHO. People who knowingly lie or even twist know facts should be shot because that is a large reason why the world is getting dumber by the day. :2 cents:
