is mass effect good correction

hey on my last thread i said the same question but some said it was good and some said it was bad. and some said it's up to what type of games you like. well i loved oblivion and i have never played fallout 3 so would i like mass effect or no

I loved oblivion also and still have yet to finish it. Dont think i ever will since I spend to much time looking around or doing side quests instead of the main story. 300+ hrs last time i checked... I did the same method gaming in Mass Effect..exploring then continuing in the main story. I think youll enjoy it.

Yes, Mass Effect is a good game. It's cheap now so you can either pick up a used copy. I usually read a few reviews and check out gameplay videos before I pick up/rent a game.

If your not sure just rent the game first and buy it if you really enjoy it.

Thats a very narrow minded view on a game that hasnt even been released yet. For all we know the people who loved mass effect one might yet be disapointed.

If you hate buying games for your xbox, why own one at all?

I agree with DOA82. The game hasn't come out and there could be some changes to Mass Effect 2 that fans of the first might like or hate. Sequels don't automatically make the game great - we just have to wait and see. Plus Mass Effect 1 wasn't the best game I ever played. It was good, but I can think of much better games to play.

If it was on the Wii that would mean they need to down the graphics and game play - which means bad news to everyone.

Why own a xbox if you hate buying games for it :dunno:? You can always mod your xbox, rent/subscribe to Game Fly or just buy a use copy when it comes out.

let me correct myself actually MASS EFFECT is the shit, i was very drunk when i played it near the end but i remember feeling that this was THE GAME, even though the gameplay is very similar to KOTOR if you played that, except its not in star wars universe, but still, and the game itself is really linear, but the story is kind of fucked up, i was wasted, it is definitely THE GAME and i think it deserves game of the year if it ever received it for 2007 0r 2008 or whatever it is an absolute MUST PLAY

Mass Effect is phenomenal. No doubt. Now, this is coming form someone who loved Oblivion and Fallout 3 a little tooooo much...but M.E. was fucking amazing....but, as you can gather from my personal info, I am a little galactic......actually, I AM Galactic......and don't you forget it, or have others try and tell you they are.....anyway.......the game is fantastic.......DEFINITELY play it.....I can't wait for round two.

Hell yeah.
