Is the Event retaurning for a season 2?

Can someone tell me if it will be shown, i can not go through another fantastic American show being cancelled. First Flashforward now this, please let it return. The first season starded of quite confusing but it got so good and surely they cannot leave it like that

Are you kidding?! That show was lucky that they even let it finish the first season.

I'm not exactly sure what "retaurning" means....but, NO, "The Event" is no more & nobody will be picking it up to keep it going.

I always saw The Event and Flash Forward as two shows that were trying to clean up the Lost fans after we were all in disarray and scattered after the Lost finale... I'm still not recovered fully from that show being done.

But these two shows tried really too hard. I didn't like 'em

Never seen lost but i am eventually going to watch it with other shows like 24 etc
But i thought that the event was actually pretty good by the end and flashforward IMO was really good, it kept you sucked in from start to finish and i could never wait for the next one
