Haven't seen it, been told it's garbage by those who have. It's getting bad reviews in the aggregate as well.

no! its a dumb comedy. what can you expect?

Are comedies ever going to be amazing masterpeices?, they are not meant to be, they are meant to be funny. It was never going to be as good as American beauty, Shawshamp redemption, Godfather, American history x, the list goes on and on( those just off the top of my head) but IMO for the kind of movie it is meant to be, it is pretty good. It was never going to be an oscar winner, but at various points the cinema was laughing, a good thing for a comedy IMO

I still thought ot was a good film, not all films have to be amazing and get fantastic reviews to be enjoyable. Yes reviews obviously help but they dont tell the whole story

id never watch crap like that. those kinds of movies actually offend me. no thought, no plot. its just a marketing masterpiece of crap that they know everyone will throw their money to. i have my standards.

You may think that but the hangover IMO needs no plot-even though it does actually have a plot, not a strong one but a plot none the less-how many comedies can you say have a plot but many are still successful. It was still a good film, as we are not all finicky film critics. \The hangover was never going to be a masterpiece, it was never going to be hugely successful. But IMO it does what it is meant to do, it is entertaining, gives you afew laughs, causing you to come out at the end having enjoyed a not brilliant but still a good film. The hangover isnt an oscar winner and never was going to be, it is just a film about one crazy nigh in vegas and then in Bangkok, and it is amusing at the very least to see the things that three men can get up to in one city

It is definitely down to personal humour, i find that kind of thing funny, some people dont.
Personally i think that i like all types of humour and the hangover in my opinion is quite funny especially zach galifianakis's character
