Jesus in action

assari

God damn it, Baconsalt!
When Jesus returns in the world he noticed immediatly certain drawbacks.

He will not allow that grocery stores sell alcohol and tobacco.

He will arrest those drug users who sell drugs to other people.

He did not like the fact that people use pharmacy drugs without a good reason.

He comes to visit to your home and if he notice that you keep your weapons carelessly he confiscated them.

If someone says that his action is not lawful he responds by saying that he is the law.

Amen

If Jesus would come back, his so-called fellowers would be shocked...

While all these actions are commendable, Jezus won't be coming back to do it. An intelligent citizenery and good law enforcement by mortals and not figments of the imagination will accomplish these goals.

I wouldn't bet a good fuck on it!

The law has failed if it allows the sale of pharmacy medicines that make people go crazy and the sale of weapons to people who can not take care of them in such a way that they do not harm others.

Oh what the heck....

So, I'm technically a Roman Catholic. Member of the Holy Name Society and all of that.

The thing that stumps me is that there is no primary evidence that Jesus was an actual person. Historians tend to agree that he did physically exist and agree a couple of accounts most probably happened (eg he was baptized.) When you get too much further beyond that, there isn't much evidence you can't count on.

That is Jesus. People like to fight over him. The other thing people seem to like to kill each other over is the Bible. There is no credible evidence of the Bible's origins. In some ways less than The Book of Mormon. (Which while all of the few Mormons I know are absolutely awesome people, the book and Mr. Smith are really just a load of crap).

This is where I would normally cite a few references. If you're capable of browsing porn and having looked up this history already, well, jeez, I don't even want to know you.

This troll is now rambling a bit...
I'm a Catholic who acknowledges the ugliness of the church, but recognizes the good. It is built on a foundation of myth, but the miracles that does come from it are the people who devote their life to others. There are examples of both sides and I tend to focus on the value it brings.

My beliefs probably most closely align with Deists. Intelligent design is ignorance that we can't seem to correct in some folks.

I'm going to take my soap box now and burn it in my fire pit this weekend. With some Gentleman Jack on the rocks and a nice cigar...it should be a good time.

Where the fuck is this written? Or are you proclaiming yourself a prophet?

Well, I am. The soap box is metaphorical, but the whiskey and the cigar will be quite real. I promise you.

;)

The law hasn't failed. In most cases, you need a medical prescription to buy those drugs and most countries have some gun-control policy.

Only in the US a mentally challenged person can buy an AR-15 without even going through a background check.

There is always room for improvement and in every country the law should try to prevent certain people from getting guns.

It is un-diplomatic comment on American gun laws, but they should not be suprised if their doorbell rang, the beared guy comes in and confiscated their automatic weapons.

If he did and that is all he did...I could live with that.

Catholics are ok.

I believe that Jesus existed.

If the Romans had not destroyed the Jerusalem evidence would be much more.

All true Christians know that he will be back and it happens within a few years.

The Roman historian Tacitus in his Annals makes mention of Jesus in the following:

Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition (the resurrection), thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular.

So Tacitus, a Roman historian, antagonistic towards christianity, confirms that Jesus was executed by order of Pontius Pilate the governor of Judea.

And if we're to use one of the arguments used for climate change, the consensus of the majority of historians is for the historicity of Jesus of Nazareth.

Which is not primary evidence.
