i always find it intriguing how people think that hitler is a hero and a good person when in fact most students see him as a symbol of ethnic chauvinism, racial purity, patriarchy, ganocide, imperialism. shortly after ww2 the civil rights bill passed and women began associating patriarchy with naziam using words like mysogonazi men used femiazi. all in all, the term nazi has become synonyms with anything that is oppressive, patriarchal, or dictatorial. here is an excerpt from finklesteins book the holocaust industry about how various world leaders have been compared to hitler and how the vast majority of the worlds population sees nazism as the antithesis of what leftists call a free society i.e. women's rights gays rights etc
Holocaust memory loomed large as the US-led NATO bombing of Serbia commenced in the spring of 1999. As we have seen, Daniel Goldhagen compared Serbian crimes against Kosovo with the Final Solution and, at President Clinton's bidding, Elie Wiesel journeyed to Kosovar refugee camps macedonia and Albania. Already before Wiesel went to shed tears on cue for the Kosovars, however, the US-backed Indonesian regime had resumed where it left off in the late 1970s, perpetrating new massacres in East Timor. The Holocaust vanished from memory, however, as the Clinton Administration acquiesced in the bloodletting. "Indonesia matters," a Western diplomat explained, "and East Timor doesn't."12
