I'm at a loss for words. I just read - or saw it on t.v., maybe? - a few days ago where he was writing jokes for Letterman again.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Carson... I grew up watching you. You gave me a lot of laughs through the years.

I'm sure it doesn't matter , that was the right place for it . This I think that's just fine to , since it is such big news story and many don't go to the other thread probably . I only do sometimes . This way nobody will miss it .

I was very close to doing the same but that section gets a lot less traffic than this one. Technically, it's the right spot to start this thread, but I've found CN to be more practical for smaller stories rather than larger, "breaking news" type stories.
