As Assange is not a US citizen he can't possibly be guilty of treason against the US, only the Australian authorities have the right the charge him with this offense :2 cents:
Um...he's have to be an American citizen first for us to try him form treason. Now that stupid soliders that gave Assange the info...that's a different story.
