I'm back from the grocery and getting a hair cut.

I just bought original, dark meat, KFC. :yummie:

They gave me a coupon for the grilled chicken.
I'll probably use it soon.

KFC sucks. It seems like they used to be halfway decent. Lately they've managed to have a weird combination of moist and soggy on the outside and dry as hell on the inside, with some rubbery, under-cooked skin in-between. They're mashed spuds taste like cardboard and their gravy is inedible. Nasty

Sounds like potential KFC customers are gluttons for punishment lol.

I prefer the myriad number of low budget KFC style takeaways we get in the UK, when I'm pissed. Only time I eat from one of these establishments!

On Monday they were giving away one free piece of their grilled chicken per customer at KFC. I went to 2 locations (had to make sure it was all the same ), and I agree with the original poster: it's not worth it. At the first place where I went it was dry, rubbery, and salty. At the second place where I went it was tender and juicy, but it was BLAND! Since it was free I think I got my money's worth, but I definitely wouldn't pay for it.

Just had it the other day (drumstick, breast, and thigh) and I must say it's pretty good. The outer skin is bit dry compare to El Pollo Loco, but it's still very juicy inside. Even the breast don't taste that bland. I may be in the minority here but count me as a fan of the new KGC Grilled Chickens.

They leave the skin on their grilled chicken? That's just another reason for me not to get it. :dunno:
