I don't get the fuss. He's annoying and his music sucks, but when I was his age, I was dropping acid and cheating on math tests. I'm sure you were much less a loser than me in high school, but I can't imagine that you'd pass on the opportunity Bieber has been awarded.

I can't stand how people constantly hate on him. I mean sure, if you dislike his style or quality of music, thats fine. But there are guys who actually loathe this kid.....I call the jealousy card. I mean we ALL know that if we change roles with JB, we would. Who wouldn't want to be a young millionaire, get to travel the world, ride in the best cars, have A list celebrities as best friends and get any pussy he wants? I mean, he's living the dream! And if you wanna hate anyone, hate the zillions of girls who are keeping this guy in business....don't hate him for milking and enjoying the time he has left in the spotlight, because most of us would do the same.

And to answer the thread, yes I'll be going to see this movie, hopefully with my 16yr old niece if she can make it out here for her spring break. I remember what it was like being a 16yr old crazed fan (actually I'm 26 and still get all squealy for BSB lol) so I enjoy seeing her get alot of happiness from his music and cuteness lol.

Without any regard for his talent &/or whether or not I like his music (for the record......not exactly my cup of tea), and to play devil's advocate, you hit the nail right on the head! I grew up in Pennsylvania the same time Christina Aguilera was beginning to become successful! Everytime I heard one of her songs at a sporting event in Pittsburgh, her hometown area, all of the fans booed loudly....for no other reason other than they were jealous of her success.

If there is anything that I have found, in America anyway, the more successful someone becomes, the more you will find people who seemingly hate them.....for no other REAL reason but because they are jealous of said (arguably baffling at times) success!

For the record, I'm not a fan of Justin, and I don't like his musical style, much less his music. Further, I am baffled by the fact that female hairstyles are seemingly in vogue on guys today (that goes for you Tom Brady)! That not withstanding......it is clear that Justin is quite successful today (likely not longterm though.....given his genre & tween fan base)....and much of the hate and vitriol that is directed toward him is based in jealousy......to argue otherwise is disingenuous at best! Furthermore, what little I know of Justin's story.........it really is a compelling rags to riches story! I might not like Justin, but I don't hate him either......I have no reason to! His success has absolutely nothing to do with my path in life! Why should I HATE him?

Long story short, like I said before, the more successful someone becomes, especially overnight, the more you find people who hate them for that success!

I'm a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan.....and the more successful they are, the more I find people hating on them too! They have the most Super Bowl wins, and they find themselves going for number 7 this year......as the playoffs progress....I find more and more haters coming out of the woodwork! One could look at it that they really hate the Steelers! However, I look at it as there are just some people who are inherently jealous & just hate success (unless it's their own of course) in general! Just as is the case with Justin.....it's not personal......it's just a symptom of a much greater problem! Even more baffling, there seems to be a strong hatred of Canada and all things Canadian in the US! I guess because you don't have many of the problems that we do???? Like I said it baffles me! Personally I love Canada! That anti-Canada sentiment works against Justin as well!

For the record, and in response to the question of the thread: No, I have no intentions of, or desire to see a Justin Bieber movie! Not because I hate him or his success......it's just not my cup of tea! Then again, I'm not exactly the target audience to begin with!

I really don't understand the vile hatred some folks have for this kid. He apparently has thick skin. Also he probably blocks the world out when he walks into his sound proof dome made of hundred dollar bills and plays video games on his movie size screen and making out with Selene Gomez in between load screens. I am so with you on this one! The guys hate him because a lot of girls like him, that's why. Worst of all, many of the guys will pretend to post as girls hating him.. UGH it makes me sick to my stomach. :eeew:
