Knives? Ant knife people here?

I've never really been into knives too much. I used to see these super expensive knives in catalogs and I just didn't get it. It seemed like a waste of money in every way. Then a few months ago, I saw a Spyderco Tenacious on sale at my local gun shop and picked it up. I fucking loved it and started researching all the high end steels and whatnot.

For Christmas I got a Spyderco Endura 4 (VG10) and a Spyderco Sharpmaker. I ran my Ka-Bar USMC through the Sharpmaker and now it shaves hair. I've used the Endura 4 for everything from opening packages to cuttin g onions, peppers and prepping chicken. The blade will not dull. Unfortunately, it seems I found myself with a new hobby. An expensive new hobby.

Is there anybody here who collects or just digs knives?

I collect vintage gerbers and bucks.I own a gerber bmf, lmf, bowie, markII from 1979, markII from 1996 and a guardian II from 1987. I also own a zlatoust bajonet very good knife for the price. My only folding knives are a gerber applegate combat folder and a laguiole. Dreaming of a vintage Buckmaster 184 and Al Mar SF 10.

I have heard that effictively somewhere near Solingen, there are blacksmiths who make custom german broadswords or katanas of the highest quality.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Just the couple small working pocket knives I carry. I have a small 2" blade S&W SWAT model spring assist lock blade that I carry everyday, and the larger 3 1/2" version. An old classic Buck 110 Folding Hunter, a Gerber folding lock blade of apx. the same size as the Buck...and an inexpensive, obnoxiously large survival knife, that is supposed to be like "Rambo's" knife, from the movie. Oh. and a couple of Swiss Army knives, I got from Marlboro, when they used to have their promotions going on.

I like knives for cooking, and like to buy these knives made in Germany called Worster, I think that is the name of them. They cut great, and last a long time.

Looks pretty good!

I had a very fine finnish knife, for a fishing trip to chzech republik a couple years ago. For filleting, forgot the brand.

I was really a work of art, and you might imagine how mad I got at myself when I managed to somehow lose it in the woods we were camping, found out when we came home and I unpacked my rucksack...

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
You would love this Orient store near me, Lalilule.

Pen knives, concealed knives, cane blades, swords, regular knives, you name it it is there pretty much.

My next blade is going to be a tanto.

I dig the Tanto style knives;
I have a few of those; they were not cheap-
but you get what you pay for when it comes to knives
(cheap price/SUPER cheap quality)
