Ku Klux Klan

assari

God damn it, Baconsalt!
There is nothing redeeming about the KKK. They preach vitriol and hate. If the entire organisation were to disappear tomorrow, nothing of any substantive value would have been lost.

Maybe, but Ku Klux Klan is an essential part of America's history.

First you dragger millions of Africans to your country, then you put them in slave work and then you started to fear them.

I think that the fear created this organization.

Bigotry and hatred that grew out of misunderstanding and fear created this organisation. I fully appreciate that it is part of American history. It's not a good part. I'm not suggesting we hide it, forget it, or deny it. I suggesting it stop now. Will is certainly right in that they are entitled to free speech. However, just because I CAN say something, does not mean it is good to say it, or even that I should say it.

The KKK promotes racism. Full stop. If someone finds racism a positive thing, that person and I have nothing more to talk about.

@ChrisFreemanX
The Ku Klux Klan organization could have been a role model to Nazis, but not the other way around because it has been established much earlier. Perhaps we can say that Ku Klux Klan is prehistoric hate organization? Those who know this subject better can enlighten us.

The question wasn't of the genesis of either organization, rather are they similar, of course they can be compared.

I believe that I am right when I said that the Finns are not interested in the Nazi ideology.

Could the Nazi ideology to be popular in other countries...I can not say, maybe.

The Ku Klux Klan organization is however much older than the Nazi movement, so they can not be compared althought their principles are quite similar I think.

You can believe whatever it is you wish, but the fact remains that there are Finnish people who do extoll the ideas that the Nazis put forth, just as there are Americans who do so as well. National Socialism has appeared in countries besides Germany, and saying that "I believe that I am right when I said that the Finns are not interested in the Nazi ideology" is untrue, as it would be if I was to say that "I believe that I am right when I say that no Americans believe in what the KKK stands for."

Every race, or nationality has a group, or sect that believes in keeping blood lines pure. America has several, Africa has them, Europe has them, the Middle East has them...it's one of the reasons genocide is committed. Remember Milosovic, from Serbia, or Croatia...one of those countries over there. Look at all of the death, and carnage in the Congo. This shit takes place on a daily basis, all over the world. The only reason the KKk is so well known, is America likes to blab it's problems to the whole world.

Doesn't it make you fear for the country when YOU'RE (the) voice of reason? :D

No...actually I only play a closed minded fucknut, on the internet.

This is America, we have free speech.
They can believe anything they wish.

Freedom of expression and the right to carry a gun are the things that are worth fighting for.

The Finns have only the first one. :1orglaugh

I think that the Nazi ideology is only suitable for certain countries.

If a revolution takes place in Finland it is a socialist revolution.

That's very true, unfortunately.

The KKK is more closely compared and is a counter balance, some feel, to Black Islamists like Farrakhan, and the New Black Panthers, and other Black racist orgs, even including Rev. Jackson and the NAACP, who are accepted pets of the culture but spout Black racism and engage in physical attacks as well as verbal.
The KKK is old, formed by 1900s Democrats, and has evolved over the years. Believe me, there isn't much real difference between the American Nazi Party, the posters on the website Stormfront, and the KKK...the Nazi philosophy has found a home in many hearts around the world, since existing theory on race and hate often finds it easy to morph with other similar philosophies.
They were organized, and that makes it easier for other groups to borrow parts and change the names to fit it in.
The planet is a giant mosh pit, and any attempt to control thought and action usually ends up as a them vs us conflict.

(Ever been to Spain during Semana Santa ? Boy, that'll give a southern Black heart palpitations!):)

Although I will take some shit for this, and I can't really post evidence, it APPEARS TO ME, that, in more recent times, the Klan isn't nearly the worst of the bunch. They seem to focus more on preserving the equality and rights of whites...as opposed to the Aryan Brotherhood, which seems to have taken over the hate mongering, and the violence. Not to say that the Klan is either right or wrong, but more like changing their way of operating....kind of like trying to work with the system, as opposed to butting heads with it.

The best comparison I can give would be, the Christians have evolved from the crusades, to political campaigning, whereas the islamist extremists have continued to blow shit up. The Klan is trying to conform, while the Aryan brotherhood still acts violently.

Since the image of the blue-eyed blonde-haired Finn represents the quintessential Aryan, I'd say Finland would be a logical place that would foment a NAZI movement (as opposed to, oh, say Ethiopia). ;)

Clean and to the point.
I don't recommend joining Stormfront, but I have read several threads there over the years...very enlightening on the state of the White Power movement.

Funny I was just reading up on them the other day, they don't just hate blacks but also Jews and catholics, anyone who isn't basically a WASP. They want to see America as a WASP utopia and anyone who isn't from that group is an obstacle to that, not only the blacks who were former slaves but also the mass influx of catholics from Ireland, Italy and Mexico.

I believe that, but it maybe difficult because their main message seems to be that American people are not egual to each other.

Since the image of the blue-eyed blonde-haired Finn represents the quintessential Aryan

The Nazi regime tries to suppress individuality and the Finns have always been people who do not take orders from anyone.

They hate anyone that's not white, wasn't born in the United States, or isn't a Christian.

A true Christian does not hate other people.

Says the guy who insults people younger than him for their, in his own words, "childlike opinions" and refuses to acknowledge that his willingness to discuss anything is driven in part by ageism.

Yeah, you're a true Christian.
