left vs right protesters

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
Protesting is a right, so the police can just stay out of it.

Police Brutality in Pittsburgh after the G20

Remember the police pulled a man from his car and beaten, for flashing the middle finger at illegal immigrants at a immigrant march?

How's that justified?

Also, last night on the History Channel, the "non-violent" "anti-racism" protestors were the ones who attacked a Separatist/ Klan member.
I guess the protestors were against Freedom of Speech as long as it wasn't their freedom of speech that was at stake.

Where is protesting a right in the Bill of Rights,

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

I think holding an unpermitted march, smashing up windows to businesses and throwing rocks and literrly, shit, at police is not peaceably. But then I am not a great constitutional scholar like Will E:rolleyes:. Or the fact that the Pittsburgh police said that no one will be permitted downtown unless they were part of thre G20 or worked downtown.

No point, I just wanted to show both videos, and the fact that I was stuck in traffic at the 'peaceful' Pittsburgh G20 protest on Liberty Ave.

At least you finally admit it.

It depends, was the Boston Tea Party "peaceful?"

It was necessary. :hatsoff:

Was the BILL OF RIGHTS ratified then?

Yes....as was every other amendment to the constitution.

Weren't you told to stay out of downtown? :1orglaugh

Boston Tea party, 1773
Bill of Rights Dec 15th, 1791

OK, I'll bite. What is the significance of these factoids?

I changed my middle-name to Freeones
One other difference is that the vast majority of the "left wing" protestors are the same ones at every protest... one of my friends who works for the Secret Service calls them "professional protestors." The one guys who got arrested in Pittsburg last week (you probably saw him in a news clip) has been arrested over a dozen times at protests ranging from anti-war to anti-IMF. If there's a protest, most of those same people are there.

Seeing that I work in Shadyside, where the protesters started, and only way out is Liberty Ave. And about halfway down liberty ave is when all the shit started, a good 5 miles from downtown pittsburgh, and you can be in downtown only if you WORKED there like I stated before or were part of the G20.

I said "peacefully" assemble and will said was the boston tea party peaceful, well since the constitution was not ratified it is not goverened by it.

Facetious

Moderated
Whenever the libs protest or demonstrate, it's called organizing of the community kind.

Whenever the conservas, or other various groups that happen to disagree with the fabian socialist viewpoint of the day, happen to protest, they're often referred to as a gaggle of racist - white supremacists who disagree with the President for no other reason than some cooked up imperative that they have to oppose a black man.

WTF. Here's a video of men in military uniforms arresting a protester at the G20 meeting in Pittsburgh. They are not civilian cops but some type of military police. I hope this is a fake but I don't think so.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8CNa_viKg0

They are SWAT, the military in this country does not wear the Woodlans camo anymore, nor would the military be arresting people in crown vic's

Sorry....not good enough. You know I'm going to ask for exemplary references, pal....:D I seriously doubt that you'll be able to find any reference that shows anyone calling the protests in Pittsburgh "community organizing".
