Just a few items to ponder FWIW -
Mr. Green "cried out for help" with his "bold", over the top pronouncement(s) "I wanna kill "Irockies", did he not ?
I would like to cross examine the ever so apparently lowly nurse practicioner that "treated" Green with little more than a sleeping pill. Is that really acceptable ?
I would also like to read, in the form of a chronological order, the series of events that led up to the eventual killing. Did somebody somewhere in the chain of command choose not to take Mr. Greens' incendiary outspoken threats as serious business ?
These "check points" as I understand are very strenuous tasks for our Armed Services personnel to the same degree that they are a tremendous burden on the Iraqi people having to pass through the daily scrutiny of the foreign occupying check points as you could imagine. Just think about it for a second....The Iraqis are po'ed ...... the coalition forces are po'ed... everybody is at each others' throat, day and night 24 / 7 / 365 1/4.
Not to mention the rapidly approaching minivan who "just right now" blew past the pre screen and is headed directly at me  :1orglaugh
A rollin' IED is it ? .....Hopefully "Jimmy" across the way has picked said minivan up in his glass (riding atop his Barrett .50 BMG) ....otherwise .....:helpme: :hatsoff:
Back to serious :Green is responsible for his actions, I don't have an issue with that, my question is, were there other internal shortcomings in the chain of command that simply swept Green and his issues under the rug ?
