I once witnessed the craziest lightning i've ever seen, We take our cattle up every year to the mountains to graze for the summer & it was raining hard as we let em out into our property and they began to stampede right as a huge lightning bolt struck within close proximity and I swear on everything the Cows got electrocuted or static or something and you could see the blueish white electricity coming off them even their horns!
None of them died but it was intense, we had about ten witness and the scary shit was all of us were soakin wet from the rain!

My favorite lightning pics are the ones above an active volcano, it's unreal how the heat exchange from a volcano could cause an electric storm. :surprise:
