Limbaugh never claimed there were no homeless vets, not on his show or in the clip posted here...another typical smoke and mirrors ploy to overstate what was actually said...Obama was attempting to create the impression there were many recent vets left to fend for themselves, and were becoming homeless in droves.
I see lots of homeless with signs claiming "vet", and some probably were in the service ...and lots probably weren't.
There are literally millions of vets out there, and a tiny percentage are homeless...

A strange attitude of compassion for the vets from an admin that wants to remove many injured vets from the Vet Admin's purview and let them get their own medical care as best as they can...

So far you've denied that you are a right wing, GOP, Rush-loving ultra-conservative, yet all your posts suggest otherwise. I believe you just want to rebuke what other people said about you so you won't get painted into a corner with your words, but it's pretty damn clear that you aren't exactly an independent either, so you'll just have to get used to people putting you in the same category as those right wing nuts.

actually it was just one sentence, a comma would have been more appropriate in that post.

Some of you people here are extreme hypocrites.
Defend the democrats ACTIONS to the grave and in the same time twist a persons words into something it isn't.

All I will say on this is Media Matters is an extreme leftist group.....I listened to that audio clip, and to me, it sounds very doctored......I think they clipped it at just the right time.

This left right b.s. is what hjas gotten us in this freaking mess. Vets did no better in any past administration and with the present one they are likely to to the same. Once again Obama likes to say something "good" but his actions do the opposite, how much money of that bailout or his omnibus budget or the present proposed on is going to help these homeless vets? No one cares about us and this is from someone who almost became homeless but my self pride does not allows me to ever become one.
